just thought I would say hi.
decided to go down the importing route with a view to selling on after a few months of ownership as I do seem to get bored quickly with cars.
Was looking at the sportier side of things and today was told I won a bid on a impreze sti type R version 4.
Now I have to pay for it and then wait. I am sure its on here somewhere but how long does it take to get the car over here from making the payment.
Also specifically with these cars do I need to get the fuelling remapped. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Shipment time depends on when the ship leaves. After it leaves, it takes 4 to 6 weeks for it to arrive. Normally, it take up to a fortnight to get the the car on the ship from payment. Total expected time shouldn't be beyond 2 months.
Fuel mapping would be useful to keep your car's engine in good condition, especially if you are racing around. It would help that you use higher octane fuel to keep from damaging and also increase performance. More info:
