Our shipping agents have been advising our customers that they can actually drive the vehicles home from the docks.

I know our customers have been doing this without and trouble.

Please do give them a call to confirm it is legal.

Barratt Shipping
Tel: 0845 225 00 99

Apparantly you are allowed to with the documents you get from the docks on the day.

I also know provided you have an MOT appointment booked you are allowed to drive your vehicle to the MOT station (perhaps a detour to your house too).

Glad to be of service.

Just drop an email by sales@japaneseauctions.co.uk and our sales team will give you full details.

Auction lists will for today will be up within the next 20 minutes. Enjoy browsing.

If you aren't on broadband then the site will seem a little slow at the moment as we haven't fully finished optimising the code yet. Promise it will be 10x faster within the next 48 hours tho!

Also you will be able to search by auction grade and year properly too!

Regarding the VAT and Import duty just ask to speak with Tony our export manager and say Terence sent you Wink Wink

We do not ship CIF.

We ship on FOB basis.

Shipping is paid once vehicle arrives at the port.

Shipping cost for a small car will be around 400-450 GBP.

That can be purchased.

5,000 Yen (25 GBP) for your vehicle.

Protects against total loss.

For a vehicle such as yours there is not much to worry about.

It is the large vehicles with very low bodykits and lowered syspension that are a problem. The ramp that goes onto the vessel is quite steap and the kits on supra's and rx-7's are low.

In some cases we have had to take the front bumper and in extreme cases sideskirts off for customers. Bits can be loaded inside the vehicle to save it from being wreaked during shipment.

[quote="Gary"]Hey people like gary above there is a couple of questions i would also like to inquire about. I am very interested about shipping to dublin and it would be great if some1 could give me the low down on prices, hidden cost etc. Cheers

Im looking to use car for while and make money on the car if possiblewhen selling on.
I am setting myself a budget of 9000 and that is total cut off point. Cannot afford anymore.
How do i get the ball rolling in the importing process ?

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT TANX
