Hi
Can you please advise me of who to contact to make a model report.
Have you any idea of the cost and does this report then belong to you.

i thought about it and looked into it (but not very deeply Embarassed ) once.

the reports are developed and produced by VOSA from information supplied to them by test houses. Their examiners then use the information on the Model Report to satisfy themselves that the vehicle presenting for examination, is the same as a model that was originally tested at the test house.

from what i could gather, it is a few thousand pounds, depends on how much info you need, ie some models have certain aspects covered and some don't, and you might even need to have it crash testsd - although i think that might be in extreme cases Shocked

saying that thiough, once done, you own the report, and if there arn't any others, and it is a reasonably popular car, you then rent it out for ??400? a time.
also every time you import that model you use your own report.

i would be interested in what you find out.
