hi folks,
my name is shaun and im an irish lad lookin to pick meself up a s15 silvia spec r. have a bit of a dilemma tho. as i live in ireland im gona get bummed by the goverment for doing so. seen a 99 silvia and could get it to dublin for 3500 euro but it was costing me an extra 7000 euro to pay import duty, vat, vrt and tax for 1 year. fuckin crooks. was wondering if one of you guys could tell me bout ur import system, all fees etc and registration as i thot it mite be cheaper to import it to and make it a uk car and jus drive that in ireland. have family in uk but they have no idea how the system works so any help and info would be greatly appreciated.
