Just imported a 350z, am looking for info on converting the radio to UK spec (any places to get either band expander or complete conversion) and also convert the GPS system - think its a dvd based system - just wondering where and how much to get it reprogrammed

There are alot of band expanders available, just do a google search for FM BAND EXPANDER. Can also find them on Ebay really cheap like this..

Most need just a 12v feed and plug between the aerial cable and stereo.
Try and get a 12MHz one so you can still get Radio 2 Laughing

As for the nav.. thats alot more complicated. Maybe ask on the 350z owners club?

The nav isnt easy unfortunatley. My parents own a JDM Mazda RX8 which has the nav screen/ unit which hasnt yet been converted to UK spec. Its dvd based like the 350z, so they purchased the UK disc but this didnt work. It turns out that the whole unit needs replacing.

(especially when you can just buy a decent spec portable GPS unit for a third of the price)
