I AM THINKING OF BUYING A IMPORT ,SPENDING ABOUT £4000 ALTOGETHER,HOW MUCH WOULD THE COST BE FOR THE MOT SVA IF NEEDED TRANSPORT TO DELIVER SO THAT THE VEHICLE IS RGISTERED READY TO USE ,HOW MUCH ON TOP OF THE COST OF A VEHICLE

It's 2 or 3 years since I did mine, but if it helps:
Delivery from Docks depends where you are re the docks, but my Estima cost about £100 to get from Liverpool to Sheffield.
Go to the DVLA site to get the details of the SVA and costs of that.
The MOT is the normal cost , £42 +
There may be other costs, depending on wether anything is needed to satisfy the MOT and SVA people. I can't judge this, as it will be specific to the type of car
I shunted mine into the back of a truck en-route to the SVA, but I don't think you need to budget for this   |
