hello to everyone, and hopefully someone will be able to help me out here.
i am trying to import a mitsubishi "mirage" 3dr hatch back. the problem i am finding is that i am after a exact model of this car. in 1995 - 2000 the japanese market had a mirage 1.5 4WD hatch model. the chasis is listed as a CL2A in the auction lists. i need this one as the whole idea of importing one is because it is to be used as the base of a big project.
i have been speaking to terrence via emails about this and he seems to be saying i cant import one and get it on the road because the car doesnt have a model report for it? but i know of 2 ( one of the older model, one of the one i`m after) in the UK and on the road.
is there anything else i can do to get one over here? i have seen a few on the auction link terrence supplied me which is just annoying as i cant seem to get one lol.
any help would be great, as i`m holding off paying my £500 deposit untill i know what its gonna involve / cost. |

The vehicles you see in the UK may have been imported before the eSVA tests came in.
The problem lies in there being no Model report which is needed for the eSVA. |

1995/6 and early 1997 is not a problem.
Just need a MOT for registration. |
