| Probably the most obvious and numerous ones would be the Estima/Lucida/Emina range - diesels can do anything up to about 38mpg depending on who you speak to! Might not be ideal for a taxi though as they only have the one side door, although i did sell mine to a cabbie who wanted to use it for airport runs. The 2000 on Estima (Previa) as a diesel is ok on fuel I think, and has 2 side doors. My petrol one does around 24mpg around town, and 28ish on a run. Others you might look at could be the Honda Stream or maybe the Mazda MPV. There's bound to be others but those ones spring to mind initially for their roominess and should be easy to get hold of at reasonable prices. |
