Hi, i'm currently registering my girlfriends new car (1992 MR2 Auto TBar) after my GT Turbo Tbar.
Both car cost less than ?5k together!! They are both mint too, especially the Auto, 48,000 miles and never looks to have been used!! Plus it has Rev3 rear lights, ?500 Stainless exhaust, Remote control CD, the list goes on. The saving on a UK car are crazy.
Can't see why more people don't do the same.
Anyway, what is the best insurance company for imports? I've found Highway the best until now. ?920 for my renewal after a crash this year, called up and all of a sudden they withdraw the offer as they have removed import discounts, now paying ?1444.00 with NIG, my girlfriends is ?725 with NIG also. (broker is QuoteAcar.co.uk)
Anyway again, 2 TBar MR2's in matching black, nice for summer!! :-) |

| We are using 2Gether Insurance (0845 2574807) for our '02 Estima, they were happy to insure ours on just a chassis number 'til it was registered even with all the mods! ?560 for 2 drivers, 1 with no NCB, fully comp, windscreen & legal cover, hire car etc. - cheaper than our older and lower value Lucida! |

it also helps to join the owners club
most models have an online free to join forum/owners club
besides helping with info and problems from guys who have been there before - the insurance company can give up to 10% sometimes for a club member on the basis that if you are in a club you are more likely to look after your car. |
