1,Why can I not get any details of the cars on Advanpartners? every time I click details it just says not data found,I can not buy with out seeing the larger photos and type / engine size

2, can you tell me if I am able to get a model report for cars 1997 on, as if I can not get them then you can not regester the car?

3, Do you ship to Newcastle or Teesport? if so do you have contacts for getting the cars MOT'd / SVA'd

any help excepted Keep up the good work with the new site.

Just sorting out a few bugs with the advanpartners system.

Should be sorted within 48 hours.

Let us know which vehicle you are looking to import and we can tell you if a model report has been made for it.

We can ship to Newcastle.

We can arrange SVA/MOT for you if needed. We ususally do this at Donnington park in the Midlands however, we can have it done in Newcastle also.

Terence, thanks for that, but just a few more questions.

1,Did I see some where on this site that you do have Reps at some Auctions that can check cars out?

2,if ypu can get SVA's done at Newcastle where would be the nearest port that you can ship to?

3,Cars that I am looking at that I may need a Model report for are
Skyline GTR/GTS and Legnum VR-4

4, I have seen a few nice Legnum VR-4's some have TBO next to them some have type-S are they one and the same or completely different, are all VR-4's 2.5 twinturbo 4WD?

Cheers Hammer

Terence, Embarassed I must say sorry for not putting on my reading glasses, I read your last reply about Shipping to Newcastle as you (can not ship their) but I have just looked at it with my specs on and noticed you infact said you can ship to Newcastle, so please excuse this plonker for wasting your time with one of my last questions.

oops sorry,

Yes in some auctions we can conduct physical inspection however we can not do this for advanparter vehicles as they are scattered around Japan.

All the USS and CAA auctions we check physically to ensure there is no serious fault.

No Model report for Legnum VR-4 so earliest you can import is 1996.

There are model reports for the GTR and GTS-turbo (GTS-T) skylines however.

VR-4 Legnums are all 4WD twinturbo's. They can really deliver that power with their advanced 4WD system. Amazing cars.

Following is information published by Mitsubishi in 1998

LEGNUM

1. New-look exterior and interior

* Redesigned bumper, radiator grille, and hood at the front, and light units and garnish at the rear enhance LEGNUM's sporty appearance in keeping with the series' "prestige sports wagon" concept.

* On LEGNUM Viento and VR-4 trim levels, a new-design muscular front bumper with integral fog and cornering lamps, and a stylish aero-grille and side airdam add to their sporty looks.

* The LEGNUM VR-4 type-S trim level gets specialty treatment with 225 / 50R16 tires on new-design 16-inch alloy road wheels, and flared wheel arches to accommodate the wide-tread tires.

* On ST and 24ST trim levels, the interior two-tone color scheme has been changed from a dark-light gray to a black-medium gray coordination.

2. 2.4-liter GDI engine for fast-selling Viento

* A new LEGNUM 24 Viento, powered by Mitsubishi's 2.4-liter GDI engine, joins the 1.8-liter GDI model.

* The 24 Viento type-x trim version is loaded with such sought-after features as self-leveling suspension, the Mitsubishi Multi-Communication System (MMCS), high-contrast instrumentation, and wood-trim shift and handbrake levers.

3. VR-4 more competitive

* All LEGNUM VR-4 versions, automatic transmission models included, now pump out 280 PS. The VR-4 type-S is joined by the new competitively priced type-V trim level.

4. GDI ECO indicator standard

* All LEGNUM models come with Mitsubishi's GDI ECO fuel economy indicator light, located in the instrument panel, which comes on when the vehicle is running at maximum fuel efficiency to show the driver he is operating his vehicle economically.
