i have been looking into importing a 32 GTR and to be honest it all seems a bit too much messing around and far too confusing, too many things to pay for ,too long to wait, got to trust the condition will be satisfactory etc.....and at the end of the day i can pick up a 32 GTR from autotrader for 5k anyway.........is it really worth my while and would i really save a decent amount for all the stress of getting one here from japan?
im a bit doubtful wether it would be worth my while.....could anyone guide me....can i get a decent stage 1 tuned 32 GTR on my doorstep ready to be used for 4.5k?
cheers |

i have just been looking at the price guide,it appears that the cheapest one is ?4800 shipped to uk ,it seems that the newer model that you want ie:a 33 GTR,you can prob save 1-2k to import one yourself and more for a 34,oh well i will stick to autotrader and soc etc |

Savings not so high on a R32GTR.
They start getting big at R33GTR.
There is one way to get excellent value for your money. That is to get a highly modified one with around 5-8k worth of mods. Look in the advanpartners section - There are quite a few around. 500+BHP car for around 6k. These are usually stage 2 or 3. Highly tuned motors going for less than UK equiv.
Another factor would be rust and mileage. The condition of a Jap vehicle should be much higher. It would be quite hard to find a vehicle with less than 80,000 Miles here in the UK but would be common in Japan. R32's are easy to register - just needs the MOT and rear foglight mounted (small job). |

I reckon you'd be looking at ?6000 done and dusted in the Uk inc registration etc.
Thats for an early r32 gtr.
However, id say it still saves against uk cars. The cheapest r32 gtr that goes ok would be about this price, but most hover around the ?8k mark. |
