| could you tell me what the sva is and if there is anyone in wales cardiff area has imported before and knows what they are doing could help me with this as I've not done this before and getting a bit confused of price I can bid on car and still ship fees, agents etc within my budget |

its an enhanced sva now which is a newer version of the sva. This is needed to get the car registered onto uk roads and is for cars younger than 10 years old. This normally requires a comparison made to a car that has been thoroughly tested by vosa (?) i.e. a model report.
so your car (if younger than 10 years old) needs to be standard so it can be checked against a model report for the car in order to get through the esva so you can register it.
