Hi everyone,
I'm looking to import my next car, probably will get someone to do it for me but trying to weigh up the pros and cons of doing it myself. This looks like a helpful site to use. Any comments/help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dan |

Hi Dan
First off, what vehicle are you looking to import? Some are easier than others to bring in and get on the road, as some of us can testify to! But I've found it has been a very worthwhile undertaking, and one that I'd be happy to repeat at some stage. There are plenty of people on this forum that could help you if you can be specific with what you're after - just shout and I'm sure you'll get the answers you need!
Cheers Glenn |

To be more specific, I'm after a White EK9 Civic Type R. It can be completely standard or some modifications would be considered, i.e. Coilovers, exhaust, carbon bonnet. No bodykit or too many engine mods. Total budget approx ?8500. Is this realistic??
Cheers,

EK9 typer for 8k landed I reckon...
Have you checked some of the civic forums? Pretty sure they sell on there.
I tihnk the issue would be the esva. as those cars are less than 10 years old... well the EK's are unless you go for eg? SO Model reports would be the problem as I don't know if they do them.
You'd have to check.
I deffo think 8.5k is do-able |
