Hi all
i am so tempted to purchase a skyline through these auctions but am scared to death to take the plunge.
I will be bying a skyline in the next 6 months but am not sure which way to do it.
This does seem to be the cheapest way when you look at prices to by a car already registered on the road here. But what happens if something goes wrong??
Any advice or words of encouragement please
Regards to you all.

Do it! Its a good experience and fun though dont jump in at the first one you see. took me 4 months
P.s. get some friends who speak japanese or learn it and travel to the auctionhall :) |

| Yeah I'd say go for it too! You can see what I bought on the left - well pleased with it and I can honestly say that it was a rewarding experience, and the company were very helpful throughout. Like masong says though, don't jump at the first one you see - study the auctions for a while before you do anything so you get to know the way it all works. And yes a Japanese friend can be handy!!!!!! |

i think a japanese friend is asking a bit much!!!
but anyway marts - go for a high auction grade - they are usually well vetted by ethical mechanics (not the 'sod it' merchants you can find in uk garages)
any major problem will be picked up on.
and you can always buy a warranty when it gets back here - i only arrange warranty if people ask - but i usually tell them not to bother. |

Hi,
I was nervous but decided to go for it. Waited a while but it arrives on the 9th. These guys are absolutely brilliant and keep you very well informed. the shipping line have also been great and kept me well informed by email.
And as an added bonus autoadvan also sent me a further 13 pics of my Astro which I wasn't expecting. Now I'm just boring the crap out of work mates with them every 5 minutes :)
My advice - GO FOR IT. |
