hi guys i am looking at importing an R34 GTR skyline i live in the UK and have been told that i can't use it on the road only on the track as it can't be registerd on the UK roads due to the lack of a model report.
Question 1:
is this true?
Question2:
if it is true are there any ways round this as i have managed to gather the money together and was gutted when i heard this.
any help would be great guys thanks |

Hi there - yes it is true I'm afraid - if no model report exists then you won't be able to get it on the road in the UK if it's less than 10 years old (you'd need it for the SVA test). Have you looked around for a model report? I'm using
www.modelreports.com
to get the one for my new shape Estima (left) - I would have liked the 3.0 version they do in Japan but that's a no go at present for the same reason.
Hope you do find one though.
Cheers, Glenn |

is this the skyline you are looking at?
Nissan Skyline 5spd Manual Petrol Model Code GF-ER34
if so then it is possible to obtain a model report. |
