| Lucida or Emina are the correct names. |

Hi there - late I know but if you're talking about 2000 on then it's an Estima, nothing else, and I just imported one if you need help at all.
Cheers Glenn. |

Hi Glen,
Like lots of others, I am a 'newbie' to the Jap imports. I am after an Estima or Lucida (isn't this the same MPV?)
I have 3K (give or take a couple of hundred) and basically, I just need to know what sort of price car I should be looking for, to include ALL costs involved with shipping etc. so all I have to do is just drive away!
Your help would be really appreciated, as this whole scenario is mind-blowing for me
Thanks in advance,
Andy. |

Hi Andy
I'll have a crack at a cost for you in the next couple of days if that's ok - and re an Estima/Lucida, there are differences but they are basically the same car. Unless of course you are looking at a 2000 on shape, like mine on the left, in which case they dropped the Lucida & Emina badges. Before that though, an Emina/Lucida can be identified by the flared front wheel arches, as these cars have a narrower body than the Estima and the Uk Previa. Also I believe they are diesels whereas the Estima and Previa are only petrol models. But on all three Jap import versions, you can find options galore over the Uk Previa.
Hope this helps sort them out, and I'll drop you a line as soon as I can work out a cost for you.
Cheers Glenn |
