Hi,

Would anyone be interested in sharing and appreciating each others hard earned import experience via friendly local meets? I'm not talking tyre-smoking doughnuts and blowouts, just a chat and admire!
Speaking of which, Bluewater car park near the Dartford Bridge hosts bi-monthly Japanese machinery meets, the next being tomorrow 07/03/06 from 8pm ish Laughing

Hey masong wave.gif - do you go to these meets at Bluewater? I usually play football on a Tuesday (I know, I really shouldn't be at my age!) but I might make an exception if you're around - that pint we mentioned a while ago is still waiting for us I think! 2 man down

Glanma! Hello, apologies for the lack of presence, I have still been visiting as a guest as I struggled to get on recently! Cheers Hammer, I will try to be a little more frequent!
The Bluewater thing can be quite good, but there are still a few trigger-happy gti's around though. Mainly a good mix of supras/skylines/siliva's/mr2's and some older corollas and datsuns! Really just a stop-gap for the weekend meets. But fun if you have time on your hands.
I think football is much heathier option!

Masong - believe me if you saw me limping about on a Wednesday morning you might not think that football is the healthy option!!! If I can get away quick enough I might have a look at that meet tonight, then again I might be in need of a good soak in the bath and a cup of Horlicks instead Embarassed !!!!!

Did you make it to the 'Pod last weekend msdunn?
I popped up there in the 32 but didnt enter it for RWYB, there was enough carnage with Mr Sumo Andy Barnes RE:Work 7 failing on the strip, and another RX7 shooting random bits of diff all over the track Shocked (which then required a 2hr re-tarmacing session!! zzz..zzz..)

TOTB should be good this year with the likes of Fensport, Mr Cowie, RK and Mick's JUN all trying to get sub 9's!!! Laughing Laughing

havn't been to santa pod since the mopar nationals last year (have a few mopar mates)

and i know what you mean about waiting for a spillage to be cleared up Crying or Very sad

i'll be making the trip down maybe a couple of times this year - not sure what for yet - but only if the weatherman promises no rain - long way to go for a soggy strip Rolling Eyes

Sounds to me like the 'Pod could be a good possibility for an informal get together sometime? I used to go up there regularly but it's been a while now, would be good to see a few faces and cars. Anyone fancy it Question
