I wonder if someone could answer a question for me. My wife likes the look of the FTO, so I have been trying to find out more about the models as she would like the best performance she can get. This should mean the GPX MIVEC but after doing a lot of research, the only thing I can find is that the GPX has the 2 litre MIVEC engine, and not that there is a GPX and a GPX MIVEC. Which is right, are all pre 96/97 GPX's fitted with the MIVEC engine.
BTW we dont want the GP vR which is apparently striped down of things like Air-Con.
Thanks

Thanks for that msdunn, it seems that is the case, I was just a bit confused by Romeo's post. So now all I have to do is find a GPX, in the right colour with manual gears, probabl;y some tiume next year then, lol.

I went back to Romeo's thread and had a look at what his is when I read your question - thought I remembered him mention it was a 2.4 V6 at one point, but maybe he meant a 24 valve instead as the auction sheet shows it as a 2.0. Or maybe I just need glasses!! He says it's pretty quick, though!!! |
