The budget is too low, you may get an earlier example, but it wont be the best.

Mate, I'm new on here but I think you need to look at the stock list. The prices of some tegs on there are cheap, plus according to the information, the prices include shipping, agent and all other fees until the car is landed in the UK. I'm pretty sure you can find what you're after there, there's a 99 DC2 type R with 51,350 km for 6,050 quid. Cheap as chips, in fact I'm still trying to find the loophole myself, it's almost too good to be true.

Things might be cheaper now than a year ago..

But ive imported a 96 DC2, and it was more than 5k, not loads more, but a 97 on for under 5k wasnt do-able a year ago.

A 5k budget should be fine around this time of the year.

4.5k for a 1997 landed into the UK through our stock or auction service.

Leaves you plenty for the MOT/registration/plates.
