Hi Andy

Welcome to the forum - it's been a handy tool for me, and good to bounce thoughts off of other people too. My new shape Estima (see left) had it's ESVA today - if you want to see how it got on see my thread "New arrival". I have had a few issues regards the ESVA and model reports, so my advice is to just "be prepared" for any eventualities!
As far as handing money over to these guys goes, you'll find that almost all of us that have bought cars through them have had little or no problems, and have ended up being pretty pleased with the whole process and the end results.
To be able to bid on anything you will need to first hand over a deposit, once that's done it is just a case of choosing your car and giving the instruction to bid on it. Then sit back and hope you win it! :) If you want a thorough breakdown of the process see Bens' long thread "won my first car at auction!" as he has detailed it right form the outset.
Any other advice you need - just shout!

cheers Glenn
Ps - sorry to hear you've written yours off too!
