Am i correct in assuming that a pre 95 import that has to have an SVA test has to be totally unmodified?

Hi Ken
Any car 10 years or older does not need to have a SVA test just a normal MOT.
Any car between 95 and 97 needs a SVA and MOT, 97 and newer needs a SVA, MOT and a model report.
I think this is corrent, please corrent me anyone if im wrong.
