| I have recently bought a Honda Prelude but i am not convinced that it is an import, i have checked my service book to see where the first service was done and it was in england but the person who i bought the car from say's that it is an import. Is there a way of finding out for sure that it is an import? |

One of the first signs would be the smaller square plate on the rear! but in some cases imports can have the larger plate also, if thats the case I would then look to see if it has a factory fitted rear fog and fog light switch, does your car read in MPH and also show KM? Does the ODOMETER show the same Top speed as a uk car? Check for signs of JDM stickers/decals where in the UK they should read in english. You could also put write a letter to the DVLA to find out the info also.
If its a UK car your V5 should state NEW AT FIRST REGISTRARTON IN UK or something along those lines. |
