Japanese car imports

hi there all
got bit of a problem and wondered if anyone has the answers that i need

firstly my name is frank
i have an unregistered honda crv with no deregistration cert and i cannot seem to get a model report either which is causing me bit of a problem to register here in the uk does anyone have any soloutions that i can try please

Without a model report you have absolutly no chance of registering the car until its over 10 years old. Only way around it would be to buy an equivalent UK model and transplant everything from the JDM model onto the UK body shell...

many thanks for your reply i believe that i have found a way of getting the model report and am now just at this moment trying to get the de reg cert will let yuo know how i get on many thanks frank

I will suggest you to buy an equivalent UK model and transplant everything from the JDM model onto the UK body shell...

If you don't got a deregistration-cert , you need find out if it's decertified or not in Japan. How you got a car in without a de-cert is beyond me. If it does have one, you need find where it is. If it got lost, maybe you can get a replacement from Japan's government. Did you just import this or "got it" somehow? Do you know the exporter? The de-cert should've been sent with the Bill of Lading and Invoice before the car was on ship.
